Self Development Book Recommendation
Self Development Book Recommendation
Thanks for reading!
Here at CreateYourMind.com, Orlando and I recommended many different self-improvement, self-development, and self-awareness books. In our “Success and Opportunity Achievement Track” we impress upon the importance of cleaning out the dirty water – how do you do this? By reading.
You can find many of the ‘best of the best’ self development books here: CYM Recommended Books
But one book in particular is not sold as a self-development book but a book on sales: but make no mistake, the good habits you will learn from the following book is incredible in self-development.
I wrote about it in my blog: “Self Development Books – Good Habits” Excerpt: I was at dinner last night and a group of us ended up talking about self-development books (for the lack of a better term) and one book in particular that has changed my life! We were discussing good habits and why New Year’s Resolutions fail most of the time. (I discuss breaking bad habits here: “Breaking Bad Habits”.)
Well, my dinner led to the discussion on the one book that has changed my life! If you read this book and you use the techniques to create good habits, your life will also change.
“How to win friends & Influence People” by Dale Carnegie
The positive attitudes you learn from this book will be life changing! If you use these techniques to ‘win friends’ you will most definitely find the leader in you in order to ‘influence others’. This does not just mean influence them to ‘buy’ what you are ‘selling’ in the specific sense, but ‘buy’ what you are ‘selling’ as far as your personality, your relationship, your kindness – your positive attitude!
Sometimes a book on sales is the best self development book to read. You are selling yourself – you need to be the best product around!
This will go a long way in life. If you practice the techniques shared in this book, I guarantee:
Your life will change immediately!
From simple principles like “Smile” or using a person’s name, to walking slowly through the hallways at work, you will crate self development habits that lead to self improvement and motivation. Every day of your life you will find that there is a concept/principle to use and/or share with others that you can ‘influence’.
I highly recommended this self-development book to anyone and everyone who wants to create good habits and to change their life in a positive way! Read the book. Read it soon. And re-read it every year, quarter, or monthly if you need to remind yourself on how important relationships are with everyone you meet!
Thanks for reading! It’s a good habit not to break!
