Achieve Success
Improve your life – Know what to do!
According to Dictionary.com, motivation is the act or an instance of motivating. It is the state condition of being motivated. Or, something that motivates; inducement; incentive.
Never underestimate motivation!
So how does motivation relate to how we achieve success?
Well, motivation helps people who know what they should do to do it.
In order to achieve success, you have to know what to do. The question is, what do you do?
In our goal setting program, “The Success and Opportunity Achievement Track” we discuss preparing your area of success all the way through defining a goal, writing and down, and eventually taking the steps to achieve it – and achieve success!
The process is simple. It is not easy – but it is simple. You need to know what to do.
What are the skills needed to attain your goal once you identify it? If you do not have the skills, what else do you need to learn in order to achieve success in attaining your goals?
Now that you know what you need to do in order to achieve success, there is only one thing left to do – take action, work to achieve it, which basically means – make a commitment!
Motivation helps people who know what commitment they should make and they make it!
Once you know what it takes to identify the skills and the map you need to follow to attain your goals, you need to make a commitment to it!
We like to impress upon goal-setters turned to goal-getters, that you need to commit to do something every single day to achieve your goal! This is the good habit you need to create while breaking all the bad habits that keep you from motivation.
Being active is one thing, but as John Wooden says, “Never mistake activity for achievement.” Activity, every day, is a good habit. But that good habit should be a commitment to be active in to do something every day to attain your goals! This is, for the most part, the only fast track to achieve success.
People want instant gratification, they want to bypass the hard work required in order to achieve success. Unfortunately, there is no way to jump from where you are and all of a sudden achieve success. Hard work and persistence is the only way. The commitment you know you have to make has to be made, and that commitment means activity every day to attain your goals!
Motivation helps people who know what habit they should break, to break it!
What gets in the way of success? If you want to achieve success this is the first thing you need to do – create good habits and break the bad habits.
New Year’s Resolution’s are filled with new habits people want to attain. The unfortunate part is, the breaking of bad habits is not part of their New Year’s Resolution! As you start one habit, another needs to go. This is why New Year’s Resolutions never are attained – because new habits are trying to fit in with the old.
Motivation helps people to break bad habits because in order to achieve success, new, good habits need to be formed!
Finally, the path that you need to take – well, despite the obstacles and numerous detours and breaks along the way, you need to stick to the plan!
Motivation helps people who know what path they should take to take it!
From defining your goals, making a commitment, and turning away bad habits in order to add good habits to your life, this leads to maintain or stay the course. Motivation helps people take the commitment and good habits in order to achieve success and use that to never give up!
Don’t give up! (Improve your life – Don’t Give up!)
Don’t quit!
Stay the course.
Motivation is key to self-improvement! Motivation, will lead to happiness. (Improve your life! – What motivates you?)
Motivation will lead you to what you need to do to attain success. It will help you make a commitment. It leads you to create the habits you need to reach your goals. And, to wrap it all up, motivation leads you on the right path to attain success – you just need to take it!
