We have been revisiting our self improvement and motivation material because too often we do a lot of talking and not enough doing. You know the kind of people I am talking about right? They have every book in the world and they are constantly sharing with you their words of wisdom that just grind on your nerves. It’s not because what they are saying isn’t true or great to hear it’s because you know despite all the self improvement and motivation material this person has consumed they have never once in their life applied it. They never take any risks or have ever done anything more than just show up for work day in and day out.
What really gets us fired up about these folks is that they give you eloquent words from Jim Rohn then turn around and complain that they don’t make enough money or can’t seem to get out of their dead end job. Ugh!
Thanks to the wonderful self improvement and motivation books and seminars that we have consumed we actual go and apply it to our lives. Granted, it hasn’t been all puppy dogs and ice cream. Hardly! It’s been quite a struggle in fact. Though, we know it’s working because we are still at it and showing strides of improvement day in and day out.
